RbMysql#query

Execute query string.
If params is specified, then the query is executed as prepared-statement automatically.
=== Argument
str :: [String] Query.
params :: Parameters corresponding to place holder (`?') in str.
block :: If it is given then it is evaluated with Result object as argument.
=== Return
Mysql::Result :: If result set exist.
nil :: If the query does not return result set.
self :: If block is specified.
=== Block parameter
[ Mysql::Result ]
=== Example
 my.query("select 1,NULL,'abc'").fetch  # => [1, nil, "abc"]
