ERB::Util#html_escape_once

A utility method for escaping HTML without affecting existing escaped entities.

  html_escape_once('1 < 2 &amp; 3')
  # => "1 &lt; 2 &amp; 3"

  html_escape_once('&lt;&lt; Accept & Checkout')
  # => "&lt;&lt; Accept &amp; Checkout"
