- All deps recompile for a package (at least in some cases) when only the package is modified
- Precompilation can get a KeyError on bad(?) manifest

- Auto package download should probably insert the check just before the attempted load
- Save `pkgversion` result (and maybe some other metadata) at package precompilation. Do not rely on Project.toml existence for compiled apps.
