- a full disk is treated as an ordinary per-file error: the run continues and burns bandwidth it cannot write
- cleanup: annotate exception swallows in moon_extract.py (Slice C)
- bug(gui): a square backdrop appears behind the progress rings during a run
- the per-file live speed in the GUI is roughly nine times the real rate
- bug: closing the app mid-run leaves the Chrome process alive
- download_file has no way to reach the live log — events only surface after the run
- the COMPLETED counter and progress bar count failures as completions
- ci: ruff runs three times per pull request, once per Python version, checking the same thing
- gui: Extractors sits under "COMMON — BOTH METHODS" but datanodes is hard-capped at 8 lanes
