- `json_decode` dtype cast is more permissive than *I* would expect
- feat(rust): Implement dictionary encodings for decimals in parquet
- scan_parquet decode-ahead ignores sink_batches backpressure and scales RSS with total rows
- Add `NameSpace` (like `pl.expr.name.ExprNameNameSpace`) to `pl.DataFrame` and `pl.Series` to change column names (or name)
- Non-monotonic tz-aware temporal conversions keep a stale sorted flag, so `sort()`/`min()` return wrong results
- Provide additional validation options for `.join(...)`
- `json_decode` parses invalid json
- Fallible predicate pushed into scan_parquet evaluates nulls as empty strings and panics (strict strptime; regression since 1.28)
