- Record when a capture set was populated, and let curators freeze and copy capture sets
- Save the capture list's current filters as a capture set
- Save the taxa view's current filters as a taxa list, with freeze and copy
- Sample capture and occurrence sets, including a stratified sample across stations, sites and times of night
- Export exactly what the occurrence filters show, from one definition of the filters
