- `cargo package` and `cargo publish` order of registry selection differ from documentation
- Reduce the need for users to write build scripts
- Should cargo use git proxies for other http requests?
- `cargo package` (and hence `cargo publish`) verify step is slow from doing a full build
- Support SHA256 Git repositories
- `cargo install --locked` is using dev-dependencies
- Cannot merge env vars in `[env]` due to type mismatches
- Killing cargo test doesn't terminate the child process
- "Caused By" error on missing relative dependency could be clearer
- Cargo fails to resolve when adding a git dependency incompatible with a locked crate version but compatible with the `Cargo.toml` requirement
