- ls: round block counts up when scaling to a block size
- split: keep a suffix start at the top of the range from overflowing
- mkdir, install, mkfifo, mknod: fix -m's invalid-mode message and an empty-clause bug
- chmod: name the whole mode operand in an invalid-mode error
- tr: stop an absurd [c*N] repeat count from crashing or hanging
- numfmt: stop a multi-byte locale decimal separator from panicking
- hostname: hostname doesn't accept invalid utf-8
- dircolors: skip invalid UTF-8 lines instead of truncating the config
- cp: take the standard copy to any non-regular destination
- copy_buffer_does_not_touch_its_pages intermittent failure
