- Move in-room message search into a top-of-chat search bar with a results dropdown
- Make seshat backfill complete and resilient
- Avoid destroying a still-valid session when the OS keychain is temporarily unreadable
- Warn when auto-update can't install because the app is in a non-writable location
- Hide the macOS app on ⌘W/close instead of leaving it in a windowless limbo
- Paint the desktop window in the theme colour to remove the white launch flash
- Prompt for macOS camera/microphone access so calls can capture media
- Make warn-before-quit authoritative across every quit path and default it off on macOS
- Add a setting to disable smooth scrolling and honour prefers-reduced-motion
