- Cannot exit command mode with `<C-c>`
- Doing `<C-r>:` or `<C-r>q` when `q` is a macro register in insert mode runs the last command instead of printing the command
- Move directly into visual mode when selecting text while in insert mode
- Selecting EOL character with mouse does not put you into visual mode
- `:y` command marks file as dirty/unsaved
