- Plain MergeTree: a concurrent heavyweight ALTER UPDATE/DELETE silently drops an acknowledged in-flight lightweight UPDATE (no havePendingPatchPartsForMutation guard on the mutation-selection path)
- Replace per-table FileLog watch threads with a single shared reactor
- Plan-based parallel replicas: GLOBAL JOIN reads the base table instead of the shipped temporary table, computing ALIAS columns twice
- CoalescingMergeTree accepts lightweight UPDATE but a coalescing merge silently drops or mis-applies the acked update
