- system.s3_queue_settings.changed is 0 for legacy s3queue_ prefixed settings
- Retry transaction metadata writes in noexcept commit and rollback
- amd_compat / amd64compat should be built on LTS branches
- `MergeTreePrefetchedReadPool`: query threads block while scheduling prefetches, so `max_execution_time` and `KILL QUERY` are delayed until the prefetch pool drains
- Column named like a MergeTree key or skip index expression: INSERT replaces its values and partition pruning drops its rows
- Request for optimisation: joins written as tuples are slow
- `optimize_append_index` hint drops non-comparison `OR` alternatives: rows lost
- Constraint graph compares `DateTime` bound and string literal as integers
- `isPossibleCompare` misses `{LESS_OR_EQUAL, GREATER_OR_EQUAL}`: rows dropped
