- ORDER BY <LowCardinality(String)> LIMIT n: enable the top-K dynamic filter by comparing dictionary values once per block
- Not for merge: link the ThinLTO release builds as non-PIE to measure the cost of PIE
- GROUP BY over a near-unique key with ORDER BY count() DESC LIMIT n: bound group counts before counting them in the adaptive merge (lone-count top-K -27%, ClickBench Q32 -14%)
- Re-exec the server child in the watchdog to refresh ASLR and stack canaries
- Tighten seccomp policy for optional kernel interfaces
- Evaluate remaining low-cost compiler and linker hardening flags
