Help out
- Issues
- Show the thread stack alignment of both servers in the perf report
- Fix `round`, `floor`, `ceil` and `trunc` of floats returning `inf` on overflow or a wrong value for `|N| >= 20`
- Fix Parquet reads of subcolumns like `n.null` when PREWHERE consumes their column
- enable `query_masking_rules` in DDL statements
- Parquet: empty data pages that Arrow C++ writes in repeated columns fail with `Invalid offset index` or `ATTEMPT_TO_READ_AFTER_EOF`, and `datapage_v2_empty_datapage.snappy.parquet` fails with `CANNOT_DECOMPRESS`
- Bump `mariadb-connector-c` from v3.4.10 to v3.4.11
- Bump `librdkafka` from 2.15.1 to 2.16.0
- Query condition cache: keep the rows a PREWHERE selects, so a repeated query does not evaluate the condition again (repeated ClickBench Q41 -36%, Q40 -36%, Q42 -30%, Q38 -24%, Q30 -22%)
- Iceberg REST catalog tables load their whole snapshot history on every query, costing about 150-330 ms per query at 10,000 snapshots
- COUNT(DISTINCT) with GROUP BY over few groups: deduplicate the (key, value) pairs by radix partitioning, also next to other aggregates (ClickBench Q8 -38%, Q9 -24% over current master)
