- changefeedccl: CSV changefeeds write SQL NULL as the bare word `NULL`, indistinguishable from the string `'NULL'`
- sql: `ALTER COLUMN ... TYPE STRING` on a BYTES column does not validate UTF-8 and stores invalid UTF-8 STRING values
