- sql: asyncpg type introspection query (WITH RECURSIVE typeinfo_tree) takes 65-165 ms on an empty cluster and 340-525 ms on Cloud Standard
- sql/schemachanger: `ALTER COLUMN ... TYPE` with a rewrite replaces values written during the schema change with NULL (or `''` / zero for NOT NULL columns)
- Inserting into a new vector-indexed table in the same transaction fails
